What do we offer?

The options are:

  • Videotaped run. Watch examples at Dog Agility Movies.

  • Times per Segments: the course is divided in segments which are exaclty timed by video processing. Examples at Times per Segments

  • Side by Side between your run and another handler-dog of your preference. Watch examples at Dog Agility Movies

  • Overlay or 'ghost' between your run and another handler-dog of your preference.

How do we measure the time of the different segments?

  • Contacts (A-frame, dogwalk, teeter): clock starts when 1st paw touches the obstacle, and stops when 1st paw touches the floor.

  • Weaves: clock starts when the dog's nose crosses the first pole and stops when nose crosses the last pole.
  • Table position: clock starts when 1st paw touches the table, stops when dog gets position.

  • Table count: clock starts when dog gets position, stops when dog moves to leave table. (Since July 2003) stops when 1st paw touches the ground.

  • Jump sequence: sequence between contacts, weaves and table with jumps or tunnels.

  • Ground sequence: sequence between contacts, weaves and table without jumps or tunnels.

Note: we standardize with what is used by others in this sport, that way the performance of your dog can be compared with any other dog (provided its performance has been measured using this standard)

What do we do?

  • Times: We videotape the run with a specialized video camera. The video is then exported to a computer. With the computer we can accurately measure the time between segments. The data (partial times) obtained through that process is incorporated in a database and processed to obtain statistical information.
  • Overlay and Side by Side comparisons: we combine two digital videos to create a new one.
