Maureen Strenfel

Maureen has over 15 years experience in teaching and counseling dog owners about general pet obedience and behavior problems. She discovered clicker training 11 years ago and has become a skill user of operant conditioning thanks to three years of chicken clickin’ (operant conditioning) workshops given by Bob & Marian Bailey. A native of California, she got involved in competitive agility five years ago and has put agility titles on 4 different breeds; Boxer, Border Collie, Whippet and Mini Aussie. Maureen has qualified for USDAA finals the last four consecutive years with 3 of her 4 dogs. She currently teaches for Power Paws Agility with her youngest project being a red Border Collie named Jammer. In real life, Maureen is the Manager of the Animal Behavior Department for the Humane Society Silicon Valley.
